Machine Embroidery Geek

In my happy place.

On January 1st, 2013, I made a crazy New Year’s resolution to blog every day about some topic related to machine embroidery. It was a quite a journey, I learned (and wrote) A LOT. This experience demonstrated the power of blogging when you are trying to learn as much as possible about a particular topic.  When you have to write something every day… you have to learn.

Now that I have proven to myself that I may know a thing or two about machine embroidery and digitizing designs for machine embroidery, I have laid off the blogging a bit and have focused on building my line of designs and writing some books.  I’ll keep you all posted on how that is coming along.

From time to time I post a free embroidery design.  To access those designs, you simply subscribe to the blog and once I set you up with a password, you can download them.  I have them all set up in a bunch of different formats, so you should find one that works for you.

Thanks for visiting and feel free to contact me with any questions.

I’m so glad I came across your blog! I have attached a binder clip to my thread stand to keep the thread from slipping down. I put the thread through one of the silver handles and it works like a charm. Definitely agree that these clips aren’t just for papers anymore!
