It’s the end of the school year and there are so many thank you gifts to buy. Tomorrow we have the end of year celebration for my daughter’s brownie troop. The moms have been communicating via email about what to get the two troup leaders as a thank you. Typically we just get a gift card for these types of occasions but when someone mentioned that they wanted to do something different, I offered my embroidery services.

When I asked for a suggestion of what to embroidery, someone suggested guest hand towels. But where to buy. ┬áIn the interest of keeping myself from running all around town trying to find them, I ended up ordering the hand towels off of the Pottery Barn site (free shipping!). Using my most recent modern initial wreath design – I stitched out the last name initial of the two troup leaders on the hand towels.

Hopefully this will beat a gift card and the troup leaders will like. I will eventually put this design on the Etsy store – I just need to set up all of the different letter variations and save in all the different formats.

  1. […] The design I stitched out on the towels I made about six months ago. I think it is modern and elegant and looks great on linen. I will eventually add it to my Etsy store bit I have to finish setting up all the letters. So I would love to hear your thoughts on the design. […]
