It’s inspiration Sunday, and I found inspiration in Texas!

If you haven’t yet heard, I was in Dallas this week. And being in Dallas just confirmed my feeling that, yes, I really do love Texas. I love the wide open spaces, the cowboy boots, the accents… I really could be a Texan.
Well, anyway, a few weeks back, I digitized a Western star based on an image that I found on the Web. I turned out okay, but wasn’t exactly what I was going for.
I now believe that if you want to find the perfect Western star, you gotta go to Texas. Walking through the outdoor mall in Frisco, Texas this week, I spotted the Western star of my dreams in an architectural detail on a building in the mall, and I now have the perfect star to digitize.
It just goes to show you that inspiration can just about be found anywhere.
