Personalized baby onesie for baby Brinley

One of my coworkers, Kim, is due to give birth next week. Kim knows that she’s having a girl. It is her first child and she is WAAAYYY excited. Because (I guess) I am the mother of three and good with graphics – she asked me for help in creating images and picking paint colors for the nursery.
Then she asked if I could help her make a baby onesie for her baby to wear home from the hospital. (Wait – people do that? I FORGOT to bring something for one of my kids to wear home from the hospital. People have special “bring the baby home” outfits? Really? But whatever. I digress.) Kim had seen baby onesies appliqued with the first initial of the baby and a name embroidered underneath, and she had fallen in love with them. She asked me if this was something I could do.
Yes – sure – but let me tell you… baby onesies are tricky. I sewed through part of it by not paying attention to what I am doing, but I think it turned out okay. And it’s done in time for baby Brinley’s arrival! Yay – I’ve done my job.
