1) placement stitching for outer star applique (lay down outer star applique fabric here)
2) tack down stitching for outer star applique (trim outer start applique fabric here)
3) satin stitching for outer star exterior
4) placement stitching for inner star applique (lay down applique fabric here)
5) tack down stitching for inner star applique (trim applique fabric here)
6) satin stitching for inner star
7) satin stitching for horizontal lines
