I made this superhero icon for some silly towel capes I made for my nephews. It’s a great combo concept: towels that can be capes! Perhaps you will find a different use for this design. But my towel capes were pretty awesome.

Stitch Order
1) placement stitching for outer diamond shape
2) tack down stitching for outer diamond shape (trim here)
3) final satin stitching for outer diamond shape
4) placement stitching for inner diamond shape
5) tack down stitching for inner diamond shape (trim here)
6) final satin stitching for inner diamond shape
7) placement stitching for star
8) tack down stitching for star (trim here)
8) final satin stitching for star
