Description
A simple in-the-hoop gift tag in three sizes that can be used year after year.
Size
Small: 1.50″ x 2.00″ – 694 stitches
Medium: 2.28″ x 3.01″ – 1000 stitches
Large: 2.92″ x 3.90″ – 1257 stitches
How to make it
Note: complete instructions with photos are included with the embroidery design files
Hoop a piece of water soluble stabilizer
1) Placement stitching – stitch out this round of stitching on the stabilizer
Lay down a piece of clear vinyl over the inner rectangle you just stitched out.
2) Tack down stitching for vinyl
Lay down a piece of felt or decorative vinyl over complete tag area.
3) Finished stitching for window.
Tape the felt or decorative vinyl to the back of the hooped stabilizer
4) Final stitching
Trim around outside of tag. Create a slash inside of small rectangle at the top.
Create a slash in the back layer of the tag to allow paper inside of the tag.
Please note: this is a set of embroidery designs. You will need an embroidery machine or an embroidery module on your sewing machine to stitch out these designs.
